Let $A$ be a noetherian ring and $S\subseteq A$ a multiplicatively closed subset. Then $S^{-1}A$ is 1;;noetherian. In particular, for $\mathfrak{p}\subseteq A$, and $S=A-\mathfrak{p}$, $A_{\mathfrak{p}}$ is noetherian.
